About Clarence Balbosa

Clarence Balbosa has been a member of the Rancho Quemado Cooperative Society Limited since 1985. He was among the first workers on the society’s residential development project at Sheila Lamorell Gardens and one of the early residents of that community.  He was elected to the Board of Directors in 2014 and served as a Trustee until his elevation to the post of President in 2018 to the present.

In 1988 Mr. Balbosa joined the former Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (Petrotrin) in the Security Department where he served as Financial & Budgetary Coordinator before being transferred in 2014. He continued his service in the Human Resources and Corporate Services Department before his retirement in 2018 as a Business Analyst.

Mr. Balbosa earned a diploma in Security Management and Administration at Cipriani College of Labour and Cooperative Studies, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Anglia Ruskin University and also pursued studies in Project Management from the School of Business and Computer Science. He is also a dedicated husband and father to four (4) sons. As President of the Board of Directors, he is committed to ensuring that the Rancho Quemado Cooperative Society Limited delivers relevant services to the community through his financial analysis and decision-making skills and expertise.
